Having now had two so-so Mai Tais at the Halekulani Hotel over the past two visits, I’ve decided to drop that Mai Tai from our list of Top 10 Mai Tais in the World.
Replacing it is the fabulous Mai Tai at Sunken Harbor Club in Brooklyn. This rich Mai Tai includes some unusual steps in preparation, including the adding of salt and shaking with the spent lime wedge. But it is really an incredible Mai Tai that’s well worth seeking out the next time you’re in NYC.
