Welcome back to the Ultimate Mai Tai Top 5 @smugglerscovesf I was shocked a few months ago when Smuggler’s Cove switched their Orange Curacao and more or less wrecked their Mai Tai. I’m happy to report that order has been restored and they are once again using @ferrandcognac Dry Curacao in their Mai Tai. And it’s fab once again. I had traveled to SF to check out the new menu at @thezombievillage but they were closed for a private event until 9:00, which is okay. But would have been better had it been announced on their social media. 🤔 Thankfully I made it over to Smuggler’s Cove and even found a spot at the bar. I went through a few rum tastings and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the camaraderie. And the famed Smuggler’s Cove Mai Tai is back to its rightful place in my top 5 (sorry Hale Pele, but your owner won’t shed a tear).
